Futu Securities International Starts Offering Crypto Trading Services in Hong Kong

Futu Securities International, a prominent online brokerage based in Hong Kong, has recently launched cryptocurrency trading services for its retail clients.

The move is part of the company’s efforts to expand into the crypto sector. According to a statement by the company, Hong Kong investors can now trade bitcoin and ether directly with their local currency or US dollars.

The first day of the launch saw a positive response from the market, as stated by Futu Group’s managing director, Steve Zeng.

This makes Futu the first online brokerage in Hong Kong to offer zero-commission cryptocurrency trading.

In order to increase user participation, the company has also announced rewards such as bitcoin, Alibaba shares, and Nvidia shares for users who open accounts and hold their assets for a certain period of time.
