Although these incidents are not common, they can still occur during periods of high network congestion.

In the case of TON, the recent airdrop of the DOGS token may have been the reason for the spike in network activity, as its growing popularity resulted in a high number of transactions.

Some observers noted that the network struggled to keep up with the demand, with its transactions per second (TPS) falling below the expected level.
