Ripple Launches Crypto Custody Services for Banks and Fintech Firms

Ripple has enhanced its custody service to offer crypto businesses an advanced level of security with bank-grade technology for safeguarding digital assets.

The updated features include integration with the XRP Ledger, which was created by the founders of Ripple, allowing for greater liquidity through the use of XRPL-based tokens.

The custody service also includes a decentralized exchange, enabling companies to tokenize and manage not only cryptocurrencies but also real-world assets (RWAs) on the XRPL platform.

According to Ripple, the company’s goal is to provide fintechs and crypto businesses with the same level of secure custody technology used by traditional banks.

The global market for custodied crypto assets is expected to reach $16 trillion by 2030, with 10% of the world’s GDP expected to be tokenized by the same year.
