Crypto.com to Offer Equities Trading in Australia 

Crypto.com has acquired Fintek Securities, an Australian brokerage firm. This move significantly expands Crypto.com’s offerings beyond cryptocurrency by allowing users to trade equities on Australian and international stock exchanges.

Founded in 2016, Crypto.com has surpassed 100 million users worldwide. This acquisition follows their recent expansion into US equities and options trading through the purchase of Watchdog Capital and their foray into derivatives with the acquisition of the North American Derivatives Exchange three years ago.

Fintek Securities, a Melbourne-based company licensed and regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, will enable Crypto.com users to access a wider range of financial products, including deposit accounts, derivatives, various securities, foreign exchange options, and managed investment schemes.
