Tether Sings Agreement with Guinea to Drive Blockchain Innovation

On February 17, Tether Operations Limited announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of the Republic of Guinea.

This strategic partnership seeks to explore the adoption of blockchain technology and peer-to-peer solutions to boost economic growth and establish Guinea as a leader in digital transformation within Africa.

The MoU between Tether and the Guinean government emphasizes key areas, including education and training, technological innovation and sustainable development.

A pivotal component of this initiative is the partnership with the Cité des Sciences et de l’Innovation de Guinée (City of Science and Innovation of Guinea). This center will play a crucial role in cultivating local expertise in the blockchain sector, providing educational and training programs for students, professionals, and entrepreneurs.
