Kraken is Preparing for IPO Next Year

Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken is gearing up for an initial public offering (IPO) expected in the first quarter of 2026, as reported by Bloomberg.

The IPO comes at a time when the Trump administration is supportive of digital assets. In response to Bloomberg, Kraken stated that it is evaluating the optimal timing for its potential IPO.

“We recently disclosed 2024 financial highlights to increase transparency about our business, in line with our initial step of being the first to publish proof of reserves.

This will remain a priority for us,” Kraken said. “We’ll consider entering public markets when it aligns with the interests of our clients, partners, and shareholders.”

As one of the largest crypto exchanges globally, Kraken would follow in the footsteps of Coinbase, which is already publicly traded.
