Visa and Stripe Suspend Bankoff Cards

The Bankoff service announced on May 3 to its customers Visa and Stripe were suspending the company’s virtual cards.

In the message, company representatives said Visa and Stripe’s decision is motivated by a large number of active users and transactions from Russia:

“Bankoff cards temporarily do not support online and offline -transfers, and customer funds are frozen in the US account.”

Some users claim that customers who deposited accounts with cryptocurrencies are also unable to withdraw funds.

Bankoff representatives said they are looking for ways to solve the problem.

Russian users started to open Bankoff virtual cards for making payments abroad after Visa and Mastercard suspended work in Russia.
