Infura and Near Protocol Join Forces

ConsenSys has announced a partnership between infrastructure solution provider Infura and the Near Protocol project.

According to the press release:

“The integration, which has been in closed beta for two months and is now in widespread use, marks Infura’s move beyond EVM-compatible networks.”

ConsenSys has also noted that Near Protocol will give many developers access to a high-performance yet carbon-neutral ecosystem.

ConsenSys raised $450 million in a Series D funding round in March, whereas in April, the developers of Near Protocol launched the algorithmic stablecoin USN pegged to the US dollar and backed by the native NEAR token.
