VanEck CEO Predicts Bitcoin Will Grow to $250,000

Jan Van Eck, CEO of Asset Manager VanEck, has predicted in an interview with Barrons that the price of Bitcoin will hit $250,000. He has added:

“But it could take decades. It’s hard to set a time frame for that.”

Bitcoin has a bright future, according to Van Eck, and is set to reach half of gold’s market cap, which is around $10.6 trillion.

The VanEck CEO has noted the gradual adoption of Bitcoin by institutional investors and governments around the world. He has also emphasized the benefits of blockchain in increasing efficiency and reducing risk in the financial system.

According to Van Eck, investors should direct 0.5%-3% of capital into Bitcoin, but he has allocated a share more because of faith into asset success. He has also owned Ethereum since 2019 and is optimistic about the altcoin’s prospects. He has added:
