Indonesia to Launch its Own Crypto Exchange

The Indonesian authorities want to launch their own crypto exchange by the end of the year.

We should remember that the government first announced its plans to create a national cryptocurrency platform in 2021.

According to the authorities, they want to implement the project this year, but the timeline will be adjusted if any problems arise.

Deputy Minister of Commerce Jerry Sambuaga has said:

“We will try to make sure that all regulatory requirements and procedures are met.”

Indonesia’s central bank has recently recognized the enormous potential of cryptocurrencies. According to Central Bank, the introduction of an innovative tool will help modernize the state’s financial sector.
