The Sandbox’s Instagram Account is Hacked

Some hackers have attacked the Instagram account of The Sandbox metaverse and have placed a phishing link in its description.

The project has urged users not to interact with the profile until the project regains access.

According to The Sandbox representatives, they have contacted the platform and urged users not to follow the posted links.

Just a few days ago, some attackers hacked the Twitter account of audit firm PwC Venezuela to promote the fake distribution of XRP on behalf of Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.

Last month, some hackers compromised the front end of DeFi protocol Curve Finance and stole $573,000 in digital assets.
