THORchain Network Experiences a Failure That Has Lasted for Hours

Cosmos-based DeFi protocol THORchain was suspended due to a software glitch yesterday.

The developers initially reported on Twitter they were aware of the network outage and found out the probable cause, which is “not related to solvency.”

Later, they clarified there was an error in working with lines of code. In one of them, the actual value was replaced, which led to a difference in the state of the memo field on different nodes.

They developed a fix patch and urged node operators to be ready to upgrade.
