Santander’s British Customers Will Not Be Able to Make Deposits on Crypto Exchanges

Santander promised in July to launch a service for operations with digital currencies. Brazilian traders will be able to use it, however, the official date for the appearance of such a service has not yet been announced.

At the same time, Santander, is curtailing the service of cryptocurrency investors in the British market.

According to Reuters, starting next year, the bank customers residing in the United Kingdom will not be able to make deposits to crypto exchanges using bank accounts in Santander.

The company will only allow withdrawals. The bank has made this decision due to the activation of scammers who have started to use the cryptosphere more often to steal money from British citizens.
