Uzbekistan to Regulate the Issuance and Circulation of Digital Assets in the Country
The National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP) of Uzbekistan has just issued an order regulating the procedure for the issuance, registration and circulation of digital assets in the country.
According to the document, digital financial instruments are divided into crypto assets, secured and unsecured tokens.
A crypto asset is defined as “a property right, which is a collection of digital records in a distributed data registry, which has a value and an owner.”
Secured tokens include investment tokens, commodity tokens and stable tokens, while unsecured (utility) tokens are access tokens, ticket tokens, token vouchers and control tokens.
Regarding NFTs, they are classified as a separate type of unsecured crypto asset.
