Web3 Development Platform Fleek Attracts $25M

Fleek, a Web3 developer platform, has completed a $25 million Series A funding round.

The round, led by Polychain Capital, has also seen the participation of Digital Currency Group, North Island Ventures and Coinbase Ventures.

Fleek, which was founded in 2018 as Terminal, offered users an easy way to create, deploy and host websites and applications based on IPFS.

Fleek provides hosting and data storage services via Web3 protocols. Now the company is partnering with infrastructure players like AWS and Cloudflare.

The startup plans to launch next year Fleek Network, a decentralized content and application delivery platform for Web3 aimed at eliminating dependence on centralized intermediaries.
