The EU to Block Crypto Ads of Foreign Companies
According to the crypto regulation bill MiCA, EU Member States will be able to block ads and websites of unauthorized organizations associated with digital assets.
The regulation, which will be discussed by members of the European Parliament, will reportedly be developed by ESMA. According to sources, the option has been considered due to the collapse of the FTX.
The authorities will monitor active crypto companies that do not have permission to work with EU citizens after the entry into force of the new regulation.
They have explained:
“We will have general ESMA guidelines that will specify what reverse attraction is.”
