Auditing Company Mazars Stops Servicing Crypto Companies

Auditing firm Mazars Group has just suspended work with all clients from the crypto industry after checking Binance’s Bitcoin reserves, Bloomberg has reported.

A platform spokesperson has said:

“Mazars has made it clear that it is temporarily halting all crypto clients, including Crypto.com, KuCoin, and Binance. Unfortunately, this means that we are unable to work with the firm at the moment.”

Experts have earlier criticized the Mazars report on Binance verification published in early December, which concerned the volume of user deposits in Bitcoin and the availability of corresponding reserves from the platform.

The exchange declared that obligations are secured by 101% based on the data provided by the auditing company.

However, experts noted that the actual snapshot did not prove the safety of clients’ assets.
