Hackers Hack Robinhood Twitter Account to Promote a Scam

A group of unidentified attackers have hacked the Twitter account of online broker Robinhood to promote a scam. They have been promoting the BH token, which lives in the Binance Smart Chain network, and have stolen about $8,000.

According to The Block, the token could be bought at a price of $0.0005 and its market value soon jumped to $0.003821.

Robinhood has said:

“We are aware of unauthorized posts from Robinhood’s Twitter, Instagram and Facebook profiles that were removed within minutes. We believe a third party vendor was the source of the incident.”

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao has announced that the account was blocked by security experts for further investigation.
