MetaMask Adds Support for Direct Crypto Purchases in Nigeria

Purchasing cryptocurrency with self-custody is now more manageable in Nigeria thanks to MetaMask’s partnership with MoonPay.

This collaboration enables users to purchase crypto using instant bank transfers, thus eliminating the need to use credit or debit cards.

Lorenzo Santos, product manager at MetaMask, has noted that 90% of attempts to buy crypto with a credit or debit card were declined.

Now, this hassle-free integration within the MetaMask mobile and Portfolio Dapp is a much faster and affordable way to access crypto without sending assets from a centralized exchange.
