MicroStrategy Spends $150M to Acquire 6,455 Bitcoins

MicroStrategy, a software provider and analyst, has recently announced that it has purchased an additional 6,455 BTC, at an average price of $23,238.

This brings their total BTC holdings to 138,955, worth approximately $4.14 billion. The company has also made a repayment of a $205 million Silvergate loan at a 22% discount.

Reportedly, their average entry price for the BTC is over $30,000, resulting in a drawdown of 8.44% or more than $340.7 million.

The previous two investments took place in December 2022 (2,501 BTC for $44.6 million) and September 2022 (301 BTC for $6 million).
