Queue for Withdrawing ETH from Staking Exceeds 1 Million ETH

As Ethereum’s price continues to soar past $2,100, Token Unlocks has reported that there is an estimated $2.31 billion worth of funds pending withdrawal from staking. This equates to 48,380 ETH (abour $102.3 million) expected to be withdrawn within the next 12 hours, excluding fees.

15.4% of the total issue of Ethereum is currently locked in the deposit contract, amounting to 17.39 million ETH (about $36.73 billion).

On April 13, Ethereum withdrawals from staking totalled 14,300 ETH, while deposits amounted to 18,370 ETH.

Since the activation of the Shapella hard fork, the cumulative balance has been negative, with a total outflow of 256,820 coins and an inflow of 108,940.

According to Nansen, US exchange Kraken leads the pack in terms of funds expected to be withdrawn, with an estimated 556,237 ETH (~$1.18 billion).
