Gemini Rolls Out a Crypto Derivatives Exchange
Crypto exchange Gemini, founded by brothers Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, announced last month the launch of its own platform for crypto derivatives, available to investors outside of US jurisdiction.
The platform serves professional traders from 30 countries, such as Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Switzerland, Bermuda, Turkey, Brazil, Vietnam, and others, but cannot be used in the European Union, the US, and the UK.
Traders have access to perpetual bitcoin contracts denominated in the GUSD stablecoin with leverage, with an ETH-GUSD perpetual contract expected to be released in the coming weeks.
Both private traders and financial institutions will be able to use the services of the platform, which is based in Singapore and accepts payment in US currency only.
