Opera Integrates MultiversX Blockchain into its Crypto Browser

Opera, a Norwegian company, has announced collaboration with MultiversX, a first-level blockchain, to be integrated into their “cryptobrowser.”

With Opera Wallet, users can access blockchain-based native EGLD, ESDT, and NFT tokens, allowing for fast connection to the project’s Web3 ecosystem and practical access to decentralized applications, such as AshSwap exchange and Zoidpay liquidity platform.

The blockchain, which used to be known as the Elrond Network, is focused on the concept of the “metaverse” and therefore underwent rebranding in November 2022.

According to Beniamin Mincu, the head of the project, “the integration will make the Web3 accessible and user-friendly, leading to a straightforward entry point into the blockchain world without comprehending its complexities.”

In December, Opera and Alteon LaunchPad put an emphasis on NFT creation via browsers.
