Bitpanda Adds Coinbase as Liquidity and Custody Provider

Bitpanda Technology Solutions, a Vienna-based crypto investment business, has officially partnered with Coinbase, which will provide liquidity and custody services for the former’s “investing-as-a-service” platform.

This agreement will enable Coinbase Institutional’s non-US clients to white-label Bitpanda’s service, allowing them to offer customers trading, investment, and safekeeping of assets such as stocks and cryptocurrencies.

Companies that are already using the platform include Raiffeisenlandesbank, N26, Lydia, and Plum. Both firms expressed their commitment to maintaining high KYC standards in the announcement.

This collaboration is an example of Coinbase’s efforts to expand outside the United States in light of regulatory scrutiny in the region.
