Phantom Adds Support for Bitcoin, Ordinals and BRC-20 Standard

The development team of Phantom wallet has announced the addition of support for the first cryptocurrency, Ordinals “inscriptions,” and BRC-20 standard tokens.

Although these features are currently in beta mode, they are fully functional, according to the developers.

The team expressed their gratitude to Bitcoin and their excitement for its ₿eta launch on Phantom, stating that without it, there would be no Solana, Ethereum, or Web3.

Launched in 2021, this multi-currency wallet has gained significant popularity, with over 3 million active users in just one year.

It is also available as a browser extension, providing users access to various DeFi applications. In late 2022, the wallet developers expanded their support to include the Ethereum and Polygon networks, in addition to Solana.
