Investments into Crypto-based Products Reached $243M in 2023’s Last Week: CoinShares
According to CoinShares, inflows into cryptocurrency investment products reached a total of $243 million in the final week of 2023, bringing the year’s total to $2.2 billion.
Bitcoin funds accounted for the most significant portion of inflows at $1.9 billion, making up 86% of the total. Solana’s SOL was the second-highest with $167 million in inflows.
However, both multi-asset and BNB ETPs saw net outflows of $18 million and $1 million, respectively. Compared to 2022, 2023 saw more inflows into cryptocurrency investment products.
Bitcoin funds remained the top performer, with $388 million in inflows, accounting for 47.5% of the total $816 million. Multi-asset followed with $272 million, and Binance experienced an outflow of $24 million.
The current bull market for crypto fund products began in the week of September 29, marking a turnaround from eight out of the previous nine weeks, where outflows were recorded.
