Crypto Exchange Kraken Hires Former N26 and Coinbase Executives
On Thursday, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken announced two new hires to strategically position the company for future growth amidst ever-evolving global regulatory environments.
Gilles BianRosa was appointed as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Product Officer, reporting to Kraken CEO David Ripley. BianRosa brings extensive experience as a CPO from companies such as N26, SoundCloud, and Samsung Electronics.
Marcus Hughes, previously the Managing Director of Europe and General Counsel for international expansion at Coinbase, will join Kraken as their new Global Head of Regulatory Strategy.
In his role, Hughes will help Kraken navigate the complex regulatory landscape as they continue to expand globally.
“With the rapid growth of the crypto market, it is crucial that we are able to adapt to changing trends and regulations while also continuing to innovate and improve our offerings,” said Ripley.
