Crypto Investors’ Average Profit in 2023 Exceeded $800
In 2023, the average gain for individuals who hold digital assets was $887.6, whereas the previous year saw an average loss of $7,102, according to a report.
The document analyzed information from 500,000 clients, with 80% of them being US residents and the rest residing in Canada, Australia, and other countries.
The results for 2022 may have been impacted not only by the cryptocurrency market decline, but also by the collapse of several major organizations.
Commenting on the situation, CoinLedger CEO David Kemmerer noted:
“After the FTX collapse, there was a sharp decrease in asset prices. However, the recent rebound shows the industry’s resilience.”
Among the biggest losses recorded were from holders of Ethereum, with an average loss of $13,356.67. Bitcoin investors lost an average of $1,218.35, while the losses for Terra (LUNA) holders were $1,157.46, Solana (SOL) holders lost $917.02, and Cardano (ADA) holders lost $856.43.
