Revolut Says It Will Launch a Crypto Exchange
A client in the UK has reportedly received an email stating that Revolut, a fintech company, is currently in beta testing for a cryptocurrency exchange targeting experienced traders.
The platform is said to offer advanced market analysis tools and lower commissions compared to the bank’s digital app.
However, there is no confirmed date for testing or the official launch of the project. The email allegedly mentions fees ranging from 0% to 0.09%, as well as the ability to use limit and market orders for trading.
Revolut recently implemented a ban on digital asset purchases for UK business clients due to new FCA regulations, effective starting January 3.
It was also announced that Zeal, a cryptocurrency wallet, will be launched in the first quarter of 2024 by former employees of Revolut, Coinbase, and Spotify.
