CryptoPunk is Sold for 4,500 ETH

One of the top nine “Alien Punks,” CryptoPunk #3100, was sold for 4,500 ETH, equivalent to $16.03 million.

This is the second-highest transaction in both US dollar and ether terms according to the CryptoPunks platform.

The sale also elevated CryptoPunk #3100 from the third- to second-highest ever sale on the platform.

The seller outbid the previous offer of 4,250 ETH, worth $14.56 million, which was placed on March 1. Overall, last week’s CryptoPunk sales brought in a total of $8.25 million.
