Tesla Includes Artificial Intelligence in its Long-term Development Plan
Musk said in January Tesla could play a major role in the creation of general AI.
Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk has just announced the launch of the third part of Tesla’s Master Plan, which includes artificial intelligence (AI).
He has said:
“Main Tesla subjects will be scaling to extreme size, which is needed to shift humanity away from fossil fuels, and AI.”
According to him, the development strategy also includes sections on SpaceX and The Boring Company.
In the plan, the company can detail what Tesla’s “extreme size” looks like and lay out a plan to scale production and supply chain amid the pandemic and global transportation crisis.
Musk said in January Tesla could play an important role in creating mainstream AI, as well as preventing a potential rebellion of machines against people.
Tesla’s CEO has announced the launch of the new plan a day before the first batch of electric vehicles produced at the new gigafactory in Germany rolled off the assembly line. Musk is expected to personally take part in the launch of the new plant.
