Crypto Wallet Phantom Unveils Mobile Version for Android

Blockchain-based cryptocurrency wallet Phantom has announced the launch of a mobile app for Android devices.

Phantom developers announced the launch of the mobile wallet version in November 2021. In December, they announced that they would bid for the right to access the beta version of the iOS application in the format of a Dutch auction, but under pressure from the community, these plans were abandoned.

Android product gets similar feature set to iOS app. Users can send, receive and exchange digital assets, including DeFi tokens and NFTs. 

According to a press release, more than 50,000 people participated in the beta testing of the application. 

In January 2021, the operator Phantom closed a Series B funding round for $109 million led by the venture capital company Paradigm.
