Bloomberg: Blockchain.com Will Become a Public Company this Year
Blockchain.com, an exchange and cryptocurrency wallet provider, intends to go public sometime this year, Bloomberg reports citing informed sources.
At this stage, the company is discussing with investment banks the organization of the initial offering process.
According to the media, Blockchain.com’s assessment during the last investment round with the participation of Lightspeed Venture Partners and Baillie Gifford reached $14 billion.
According to information on the company’s website, 37 million users from 200 countries use the services of competitor Coinbase. The platform’s approximately 82 million wallets account for a third of transactions in the bitcoin network.
Blockchain.com CFO Macrina Kgil earlier did not rule out an IPO in 2023.
