Fasanara Capital Wants to Attract $350M in Crypto and Fintech Fund
London-based venture capital firm Fasanara Capital is raising $350M in a fund that will invest in startups in the field of cryptocurrencies and fintech, The Block has reported.
In an interview with the publication, the company CEO Francesco Filia has said that the firm has already managed to raise $100 million. Founded in 2011, the company manages assets in the amount of $3.5 billion.
According to him, this is the first structure that will select projects related to digital assets. The previous two, with total assets of $550 million, were centered exclusively on supporting fintech startups. In the new fund, funds will be distributed in a 60:40 ratio in favor of the latter.
Fasanara Capital is most interested in such areas as infrastructure and trading platforms.
