Everstake Donates $10M in Crypto to Ukrainian Volunteers

Staking platform Everstake has just donated $10 million in cryptocurrencies to the needs of the Ukrainian military.

Reportedly, out of this amount, $3.4 million has been donated by Everstake co-founders Sergey Vasilchuk and Yevhen Seifert to the charity fund Aid For Ukraine, which purchases first aid kits, dry rations and bulletproof vests for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Since its launch, the initiative has raised more than $60 million.

A further $6.6 million has been distributed to other volunteer organizations. The funds will be used to purchase thermographic cameras, armored vehicles and drones, as well as to help refugees.

Sergey Vasilchuk, CEO and co-founder of Everstake, has said cryptocurrencies are convenient because “they have no bureaucratic hurdles.”

Everstake has previously appealed to the crypto community to continue to help the Aid For Ukraine fund. To this end, they have recorded a rap with the participation of the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov.
