Crypto Exchange Bitso Fires 80 of its Employees

Latin America’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Bitso has fired 80 of its employees, CoinDesk has reported with reference to a statement sent by the company.

Bitso has argued it has made this decision as part of the company’s staff optimization by “rethinking the set of necessary employee competencies.”

Until now, more than 700 specialists were employed by the company.

It seems that the decision is not related to financial difficulties as the company has made no mention to that. In fact, the company currently has 67 open vacancies on its website.
