May Saw a Slowdown in the Installation Rate of Bitcoin ATMs to 2019 Levels
202 new crypto-ATMs were installed around the world last month. The last time the indicator was at such low values was in 2019, according to Coin ATM Radar.
The slowdown in the installation of new devices started in January. However, the trend changed to positive in June. In the first days of the month, 863 crypto ATMs became operational.
At the moment there are 37,836 devices in the world. In terms of countries, the United States holds the leading position with 87.9% of the total number of cryptocurrency ATMs.
The largest provider is Genesis Coin, which holds 41% of the market, followed by General Bytes (21.6%), BitAccess (16%) and Coinsource (5.4%).
