Binance Resumes BTC Withdrawals After Temporary Failure

Crypto exchange Binance has announced it has resumed withdrawals on the Bitcoin network. All transactions waiting for withdrawal of funds in the main network (BTC) have now been carried out.

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance reported on June 13 a temporary suspension of withdrawal of funds in the BTC network due to the fact that some transactions were suspended in the network as a result of low commission for sending.

The technical malfunction only affected the Bitcoin network, meaning that users could still withdraw BTC through BEP-20 and ERC-20 networks. The problem was fixed 4 hours after it was reported.

The exchange team is working on a long-term solution to speed up incomplete transactions in the Bitcoin network and prevent similar situations in the future.
