KuCoin Says it Does Not Plan to Cut its Staff
Cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin has recently announced that it does not intend to cut its workforce.
Actually, the company has reported that it intends to hire up to 300 more people in the near future.
KuCoin CEO Johnny Liu has refuted reports spread in social networks and the media about the plans of the company’s management to optimize costs in a bear market.
However, it is true that many crypto companies have been forced to lay off some of their employees and freeze some projects in order to reduce costs. For example, Crypto.com, Gemini and other exchanges announced staff reductions last month.
According to Johnny Liu, his team has no plans to cut staff. On the contrary, it plans to expand its workforce.
