Miners Sold More Than 5,700 BTC in July
According to Hash Rate Index, mining pools sold 3,767 BTC in July, whereas during the same month they mined 3,470 coins.
The biggest seller was the Core Scientific team, which sold 1,900 Bitcoins and managed to mine 1,200 coins during the month. The second and third places, respectively, were taken by BitFarms and Argo miners, who sold 1,600 and 900 BTC in July.
The largest activity was demonstrated by companies whose equipment operates in the US, as they were forced to reduce capacity because of the abnormal heat in Texas and other states.
The company researchers have emphasized:
“Many miners unplugged in July to consume less power and allow suppliers to divert it to other facilities.”
