Uniswap Blocks 253 Addresses

Non-custodial crypto exchange Uniswap has blocked 253 front-end addresses associated with criminal transactions and activity on the sanctioned mixing platform Tornado Cash.

The addresses were blacklisted for four months with the help of the analytics firm TRM Labs.

Developer Jordan Frankfurt has noted even addresses that were only indirectly related to the objects of sanctions were initially blocked. The exchange then narrowed down the sample somewhat. Now addresses from the sanctions lists, as well as those directly related to the activities of intruders, are subject to blocking.
