BlockTower Attracts $150M for its Web3-Focused Venture Fund
Cryptocurrency company BlockTower Capital has secretly launched a $150 million venture capital fund for the Web3 industry.
The structure has been operating since December last year under the leadership of the partner of the firm, Thomas Klocanas, who has previously led a $50 million digital asset fund at White Star Capital.
According to him, BlockTower raised funds from investors within “two to three weeks.”
The structure’s partners are VanEck Equities, BPI France, Mass Mutual, Circle, and the Texas Teachers’ Retirement System.
The fund has already made initial investments including Aptos.
