Bitcoin Mining Difficulty Hits a New Record

As a result of the latest recalculation, the difficulty of mining BTC has increased by 3.44%, to a new high at around 36.84 T.

The average hashrate has fixed above the level of 260 EH/s. The interval between blocks since the previous difficulty correction was 9 min 40 sec.

According to Glassnode, the maximum value of the computing power of the Bitcoin network (smoothed by the 7-day moving average) was recorded on October 11 at over 266 EH/s. As of October 23, the rate fell to 261.6 EH/s.

According to Glassnode experts, the hashprice has reached a record low of $66,500 per 1 EH/s.
