Fidelity: Institutional Investors Keep Their Interest in Cryptocurrencies
According to a poll conducted by Fidelity that has involved 1,052 financial institutions from the US, Europe and Asia, despite the crypto winter, 74% of institutional investors plan to acquire digital assets in the future.
According to the results of the first half of the year, 58% of respondents have already managed to diversify their portfolios with cryptocurrencies. A year ago, the figure was 52%.
The largest share fell on respondents from Asia (69%), to a lesser extent – on their competitors from Europe (67%) and the USA (42%). The last two indicators for the year increased by 11% and 9%, respectively.
The positive shift came despite a decline in the proportion of those who noted a lack of correlation between digital and traditional assets. The options “high growth potential”, “innovative technology” and “possibility of decentralization” received the highest frequency.
