Bitfinex Releases Information About Exchange’s Reserves

Paolo Ardoino, CTO of crypto exchange Bitfinex, has shared information about the balances of hot and cold wallets of the trading platform, whose value exceeds $5 billion.

According to him, Bitfinex has 204,338 BTC, 2,018.5 L-BTC, 1,000 BTC on the Lightning Network as well as 1,225,600 ETH.

He has recalled the open source Antani library, which was created by the exchange in 2018. The exchange plans to revive the project so that users can check their balances.

Bitfinex’s decision to reveal its reserves has been made amid the collapse of the crypto industry as a result of FTX’s crisis.
