Coinbase’s Crypto Wallet Removes Support to XRP, Bitcoin Cash and Stellar

Coinbase has announced that its crypto wallet is about to remove support to some altcoins. According to the company, users will not be able to make transactions with Bitcoin Cash (BCH), XRP, Stellar (XLM) and Ethereum Classic (ETC).

Coinbase says the decision has been made due to the weakening of the interest of traders in the above digital currencies.

Until January 23, 2023, wallet users must withdraw funds to third-party platforms.

The exchange has also noted it will continue to work with the Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Gnosis Chain, Fantom, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana blockchains. In addition, Coinbase supports all Ethereum compatible networks.

Interest in XRP remains low due to the ongoing lawsuit against crypto company Ripple.
