Porsche Plans to Release an NFT Collection Inspired on its Iconic 911
Porsche, a luxury Germany-based car maker, intends to launch a collection of 7,500 non-fungible tokens in January 2023.
The company has said the series is based on the classic model of the automaker, the Porsche 911.
The first Porsche NFT collection has been created by designer and 3D artist Patrick Vogel.
The initiative, that according to the company is the fusion of the physical and digital worlds,” will allegedly mark the transition of the automaker into the Web3 sphere. Porsche is looking to integrate new technology into its business and is considering moving its supply chain to blockchain.
In addition, the company is also exploring sustainability issues through a Web3 lens.
