Brad Garlinghouse: I am Cautiously Optimistic About US Regulatory Clarity for Crypto
Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of fintech company Ripple, has said on Twitter that he’s “cautiously optimistic” about the United States gaining “breakthrough” regulatory clarity for the crypto industry this year.
Garlinghouse believes 2023 will become the year when the US will gain regulatory clarity for crypto. In addition, he has added that support for regulation is “bipartisan & bicameral.”
According to him, the country already has a basis for the development of a crypto regulation, for example, bills such as the Securities Clarity Act, the Responsible Financial Innovation Act and the Clarity for Digital Tokens Act as examples.
He believes that “no bill is perfect and there likely never will be one that satisfies everyone.”
