Investments in Crypto-based Funds Fall to Lowest Level Since 2018

A study conducted by CoinShares has shown that the influx of funds into crypto-based funds over the past 12 months has hit its lowest level since 2018. According to the experts of the company, institutional investors “only” invested $433 million into these instruments last year.

The head of the research division of CoinShares, James Butterfill, has noted that the crypto winter had a negative impact on the mood of the institutionalists. However, large-scale capital flight from products focused on digital currencies did not occur.

In spite of the fall in the prices of Bitcoin and other digital assets, investors continued to put their money into cryptocurrency funds.

Recall that the largest crypto, Bitcoin, lost more than 60% of its value last year.
