DeFi Platform WonderFi is Considering to Acquire Coinsquare

DeFi platform WonderFi Technologies, which is backed by TV star Kevin O’Leary, has confirmed it is in the early stages of negotiations to purchase Canada-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinsquare.

According to the media, the parties were discussing a potential deal yesterday. WonderFi has said in a statement:

“The company acknowledges that it has held preliminary discussions with various third parties regarding both potential acquisitions and Coinsquare. These discussions are preliminary and ongoing.”

Representatives of the platform have stressed there is not guarantee that the parties will reach a final agreement. The company has declined to comment further until “an agreement is reached.”
